What is Kinesiology?

Integrative Kinesiology is a method that brings the human being as a whole back into a healthy balance between body, mind and soul. This sentence alone says a lot about the possibilities of Kinesiology.

On one hand we have the physiological movement of the body, which originally comes from the chiropractic corner of Western medicine. This, combined with the ancient Far Eastern methods of Asian medicine - Traditional Chinese medicine - which believes in the approach that health is a state of perfect harmony between organs and Qi (life energy). These two treatment methods combined with psychology gives us the diversity of Integrative Kinesiology.

Everything we have experienced and still will experience are sensory and motoric experiences. This is the interaction and the connection between our perception (sensory feedback) and our motoric behaviour. These two processes are interconnected and take place in parallel. Using kinesiology, we can take up the "sensomotoric experience" of a traumatic experience and, for example, help the client to reprogram the "traumatically learned" behaviour. With Kinesiology this is done by processing it and showing the body as a whole how it could react instead. When you think about what all this could be, you quickly realise that there are almost no areas or topics that you cannot deal with. This in my view shows that Kinesiology can offer so many possibilities of helping and dealing with the many facets of physical and emotional problems.
