What is Kinesiology?

Integrative Kinesiology is a method that brings the human being as a whole back into equilibrium and thus establish a healthy balance between body, mind and soul. This sentence alone says a lot about the possibilities of Kinesiology.

On one hand we have the physiological movement of the body, which comes from the Western medicine, originally from the chiropractic corner. This, combined with the ancient Far Eastern methods of Asian medicine - Traditional Chinese medicine - which believes in the approach that health is a state of perfect harmony between organs and Qi (life energy). And the whole thing is mixed with psychology and then you get Integrative Kinesiology.

My view that kinesiology offers so many possibilities has been made very easy to understand, especially with the method Brain Gym. Everything we have experienced and still will experience are sensory and motoric experiences. This is the interaction and the connection between our perception (sensory feedback) and our motoric behaviour. These two processes are interconnected and take place in parallel. Using kinesiology, we can take up the "sensomotoric experience" of a traumatic experience and, for example, help the client to reprogram the "traumatically learned" behaviour. With Kinesiology this is done by processing it and showing the body as a whole how it could react instead. When you think about what all this could be, you quickly realize that there are almost no areas or topics that you cannot deal with.

TOUCH FOR HEALTH

A method for self-help and preventive health care.

This technique was developed by John F. Thie and Matthew Thie to help you help yourself because the responsibility for your own health lies with you.

This gentle method is based on the energetic model of traditional Chinese medicine and serves to change your energetic self so that you reach a balance of your mind, body and soul. TFH‘s approach is to look at the human being as a whole and does not serve to fight symptoms, but is a method to tackle a problem at its origin. John F. Thie wanted to help people experience their body (with its wonderful natural ability to regenerate and adapt) with more awareness to enable them to improve their quality of life. With the belief that a symptom is a message from our body, we are told that something is no longer in balance. With the TFH method one does not want to suppress this message with medication, but to look and find out what is no longer in harmony before it can develop into something serious.

With TFH, a change in posture, muscle response, attitude, and energy flow can influence and indicate where and what is out of balance in our lives. Touch is an essential working tool here.

This method is widely used in professional sports, but is also very helpful for everything and everyone.
